This was my 2nd year attending the Health Braintrust at the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) held in Washington, D.C. The ALC is the nation’s largest public policy conference engaging in conversations on issues impacting Black communities around the world. Congresswoman Donna Christensen is the chairwoman for the health braintrust and she has adopted critical issues to address in congress including health disparities, health equity and fair investment of healthcare dollars into federal budget.
